Fear generates more fear often leading us down the rabbit hole of worry, anxiety, depression and despair. While it is normal to feel fear, as Christians, we must shift our focus off of self and onto God’s promises.
Let’s follow Jesus’ instruction to his disciples in Mark 22:11 to “have faith in God”. Choosing between fear and faith is a decision that can significantly impact our lives. When fear takes hold, it can paralyze us, clouding our judgment and preventing us from seizing opportunities. On the other hand, embracing faith allows us to approach challenges with optimism and courage, leading to personal growth and a sense of empowerment. It’s a powerful reminder that, despite the uncertainties that may surround us, we have the ability to choose our mindset and outlook.
Fear may be your emotion but FAITH is a conscious choice! So, which will you choose today?
