The Way You Speak to Yourself Matters!

Have you ever found yourself feeling sad, overwhelmed, anxious, guilty or any other negative emotion and not fully understanding why you’re feeling this way? It’s important to take a step back to look internally at any thoughts you may be having that could be fueling these emotions as it’s easy to get stuck in negative thought cycles that will dictate our mood and actions. The way that we think or speak to ourselves impacts us on every level: mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

˗ˏˋ ✞ ˎˊ˗As Christians, we are called to walk by faith believing on God’s truths and promises and not dwelling in darkness, despair and defeat which comes soley from the enemy. We can become our own worst enemy when we allow negative self-talk to control how we feel and what we do in life.

  • Is your glass half full or half empty?
  • Do you wake up with an attitude of gratitude or dwell on what’s lacking?
  • Are you meditating on the truths of God’s Word to provide peace that passes understand to His children?
